The Georgia Enterprise
     There was a shooting and cutting scrape at Porterdale, last Monday night.
Mr. Ed McGuire one of the workmen, was shot in the head and stabbed in the back.
He was hit a terrible blow over his right eye, and it was impossible for him
to use it Tuesday evening. The scrape started about two weeks ago and the men
have been at outs ever since. There were several in the room at the time of the
shooting and cutting and it is not known for certain which of the parties did 
it. Mr. McGuire when seen, said that six men were on him at the same time, and 
he did not know who fired the shot, but whoever did it was trying to kill him.
