  At a party in Sheffield district, Rockdale County, one night last week, a 
young man named Logan Bradford shot and killed a married man by the name of
John Eckles. It is said both were under the influence of liquor at the time
and had been the best of friends. Mr. Bradford was arrested and placed in 
Conyers Jail.
