W. W. Stone, of Oxford, had a partial stroke of paralysis one day last week. In speaking of this good and popular Christian gentleman the Oxford correspondent of the Macon Telegraph says: “The experiences of sympathy from our community are universal. Prof. Stone has filled the chair of mathematics in Emory college for more than thirty years consecutively. He has but few equals as a teacher and especially so in mathematics. He is also one of the most logical divines your correspondent ever had the pleasure of listening to.” File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/newton/newspapers/homeando2124nw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
