A. H. Foster is improving in health at Clear Water, Florida. It will be remembered that Mr. Foster, while a member of the legislature last summer, was suddenly stricken with typhoid fever, from which spell he has never regained his strength. He has gone to this warm climate in order to avoid the cold weather here during the winter. As principal of the Covington High School and County School Commissioner of Newton County, to say nothing of his efficient services as a legislator, Mr. Foster holds a strong grip on the hearts of the people of this county. After a pleasant vacation spent in the land of flowers, his friends will welcome him home in the spring, where he will be until he loses his seat in the State Senate.
