The Georgia Enterprise March 28, 1873
     We learn that JO BRASWELL, who murdered a Negro boy in Walton County, 
about a month since, has been frequently seen in Harbin’s District, Gwinnett 
County. He is said to be well armed and defies any person to arrest him. He 
threatens to kill one or two persons, and then leave the county. So long as 
criminals go unshipped of justice just so long will crime continue on the 
increase. This boy should be arrested and brought to the bar of justice 
immediately.
