The Georgia Enterprise May 31, 1888
Libel for Divorce in Newton Superior Court, March Term 1888
M. E. Lanier vs. J. S. Lanier
     It appearing to the court by the return of the Sheriff, that the 
Defendants in the above stated case does not reside in said county, and it 
further appearing that he does not reside in said state, it is ordered by the 
Court, that service be perfected on the Defendant by the publication of this 
order once a month, for four months, before the next term of this Court, in 
the “Georgia Enterprise,” a newspaper published in Newton County Ga.; and that 
Defendant be and appear at next term of this Court to answer said complaint.
