Oct. 13-A beautiful marriage was that of Miss Frances Elizabeth Carswell to Mr. Bennie Lee Wright, of Covington, Ga., which took place Oct. 13, at high noon at First Baptist Church. The house was beautifully decorated for the occasion and the marriage was witnessed by a large number of friends and relatives. The bride entered on the arm of her brother, Robert H. Carswell, who presented her to the groom. The bridal party was composed of S. R. Owens and J. W. Willingham, ushers; Mr. B. B. Wright, brother of the groom, best man; Miss Mattie Mell Wright, sister of the groom, maid of honor; Misses Leila E. Curry and Pattie Edwards, brides maids; Messrs, G. F. Carswell and R. W. Lee groomsmen. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. L. Claxton. The party left immediately for Covington where a large reception was given by the groom's parents. The wedding party was delightfully entertained at a 10:30 a. m., luncheon, by Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Carswell, parents of the bride. The out of town guests were Messrs J. W. Willingham and B. B. Wright, of Covington, Misses Mae Wright, of Newborn and Mattie Mell Wright, of Covington, Miss Leila Curry, of Griffen, Messrs. G. F. Carswell, C. R. Carswell and R. W. Lee, of Macon, Mrs. E. L.
