S. Ramsey, of Salem, last Thursday afternoon Miss Susie Ramsey and Mr. Edwin G. Martin, of Snapping Shoals were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The ceremony that made them man and wife was performed by Rev. L. I. Echols, pastor of the Hopewell church. Mrs. Martin as Miss Ramsey is the eldest daughter of Commissioner W. S. Ramsey and is one of the county's most popular young women. Mr. Martin is a prominent young farmer and numbers his friends by the score. After the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Martin drove over to his father's, Rev. J. E. Martin, where they were tendered a reception.
