The Georgia Enterprise, Oct. 24, 1902

Akin-Holmes
  Dr. O. L. Holmes and Miss Cleo Akin were happily united in marriage
at the home of Mr. George Akin last Wednesday afternoon. Rev. A. C.
Mixon officiating. Dr. Holmes is a practicing physician and during his
stay at Stewart has built up a fine practice. He is a young man of 
many fine traits of character and is very popular. Miss Aiken is a most
charming and cultured lady and has a host of friends throughout the 
county.
