HAMPTON FLOWERS At Mr. Pleasant the country home of Mr. Henry L. Graves, on Tuesday evening, October 28, Miss Mildred Carter Courtney was married to Mr. Hampton Flowers of Atlanta. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. B. Hay, pastor of the First Presbyterian church in Covington. The bride was charming in her wedding gown of satin tulle, and rose point lace, and was given in marriage by her brother, Harrison Courtney of San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs Flowers, Mr. and Mrs. Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bolton, of Atlanta, Mrs. Holden, of New York, Mr. James Paine, Mrs. Asbury, Mrs. Hodgson and Mrs. McNeil, of Athens. After the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Flowers left for a wedding journey and will later make their home in Cartersville, Ga. The attendants were Mr. Montague, Matron of honor, Madames J. B. Reeves, John Fitz, Jack Bolton, of Atlanta, and Miss Caroline Wooten, of Covington. Mr. Henry Flowers, of Atlanta, cousin of the groom, was the best man. The musical program was rendered by Mrs. R. R. Fowler of Covington. Among the out of town guests were Mr. H. Courtney, of Miami,Fla., Mrs. Rockey, Cincinati, Mr. and Mrs. Flowers, parents of the groom, Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. Flowers of Montgomery.
