The Covington News January 1, 1913
     At the annual meeting of the Newton County Poultry Association, held in 
December, the following officers were elected to serve for the year 1913;
J. W. HARWELL, president
DR. J. A. WRIGHT, vice president
HENRY ODUM, secretary
O. C. BEAM, assistant secretary
PAUL H. EVANS, treasurer
CARL SMITH, show room superintendent 
A. S. MURRAY, assistant  show room superintendent 

President Harwell appointed the following executive committee:

A. S. HOPKINS, chairman
J. E. PHILIPS,
W. F. SIMMONS
W. H. GAITHER
P. H. GARRISON
