Seeing the runaway horse coming towards them, Mrs. Palmer jumped out of the buggy and her clothing caught on the step and threw her to the ground, horse and buggy running over and badly mangling the body; while Mrs. Richardson remained in the buggy and escaped bodily injury but, owing to great fright over her sister’s horrible misfortune, was attacked with congestion of the lungs and passed away.
