In some way the horse became frightened and began to run. Miss Hill was thrown from the buggy a short distance from where the horse became unmanageable and received severe injuries. Miss Pennington, did not escape so well. After running down the road about half a mile the horse made a sudden turn into a side road, throwing her out upon her shoulders. In the fall her collar bone was broken. Her escape from sudden death is deemed as miraculous. Miss Pennington is a daughter of Mr. W. B. R. Pennington, of Covington, and has a large circle of friends here who will read of her misfortune with regret. At last account the young ladies were resting easy and a rapid recovery is looked for. Miss Hill is also well known here, having visited in our city on a number of occasions. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
