  Mr. Joseph Lewis Jr., had the misfortune to shoot one of his fingers off,
one day last week, while out hunting. The gun ws accidentally discharged, 
shooting one of his fingers off, and putting a few shots in a negroe's leg who
was standing close by, but neither of them was seriously injured.
