Georgia Enterprise
  The primary election for the democratic nominations of state and county 
officers, was held on yesterday, (Monday) and was a very quiet affair.
  The vote in Covington was a very light one, although the candidates were 
almost legion.
  Most of the state ticket had an easy walk-over, while there are some 
unexpected changes in the county ticket.
  Col. Livingston has the county delegation, of course, by a handsome majority,
though he has not been in the county during the campaign.
  Col. Livingston has carried every county in the district.
  Following is the official vote of Newton County for all the candidates.
