He was in bathing, and being an inexperienced swimmer, accidentally ventured in deep water, where he drowned before proper assistance could reach him. His body was recovered late Saturday night and brought to Oxford. On Monday morning a party of his school mates accompanied his remains on the cars to his home in Columbus. He was about 16 years of age, and a bright, handsome boy; possessing a brilliant mind, and was greatly beloved and admired by those who knew him.
