The Georgia Enterprise
     We present below the programme of the Commencement Exercises of the S. M. 
F. College.- These exercises will be interesting and the patrons and friends of 
the Institution should endeavor to be present. Members of the press are invited 
to attend, as preparations for their entertainment will be made. We want the 
public to know the advantages presented by this College for the education of 
the daughters of the South, and trust our brothers of the quill will accept 
this invitation and examine the worthy object the Masonic Fraternity has in 
view in endeavoring to make this one of the largest and most liberal Female 
Institutions in the land. Here is the programme:
     Rev. Dr. Lipscomb, Chancellor University of Georgia, will preach the 
Commencement Sermon on Sunday, June 22nd.
     Mr. Howard C. Van Epps, of Atlanta, will address the Societies on Tuesday
June 24th.
     Hon. J. L Davidson, of Augusta, Ga., will deliver the Annual Literary
Address on Wednesday June 25th.
     Examination in the College classes will commence on June 17th.
     The following gentlemen are appointed by the Board of Trustees a Committee
of Examination:
S. D. IRVINE, G. M., Macon, Ga.
C. R. ARMSTRONG, Esq., Macon, Ga.
Col. J. C. BARTON, Conyers Ga.
A. M. WILLINGHAM, Esq. Albany, Ga.
J. S. DAVIDSON, Esq., Augusta, Ga.
     Papers in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and North and South Carolina will
confer for a favor on us by making a note of this Commencement.
