A. Perry have the sympathy of all our people because of the extreme and dangerous sickness of their precious twins. **Mrs. J. N. Bradshaw, one of our best and noblest ladies, is in very feeble health at the home of her daughters in this city, Mrs. D. ?. Thompson and Mrs. J. J. Corley. **Messrs. Jno. B. Davis, Jr., and Jack P. Carr, two of our popular young men, attended the commencement exercises of Social Circle High School last Friday night. They met many charming young ladies and report having had a most pleasant and delightful time. **Mr. and Mrs. C. H. White, who have given such perfect satisfaction to the public during the time they have been managing the Covington Hotel, will retire from the hotel business on July 1st, and for the present will occupy the N. C. Lee residence on Spring Street. Mr. and Mrs. Lee will take charge of the hotel and run it in the best possible style. We wish for all these friends a long life of health, peace and plenty. **Mr. Lee Hardeman has 288 acres in cotton on his farm, near Almon, that is said to be very fine. A number of blooms were seen on June 22, in various parts of the plantation. This young man has harvested over 200 bushels of wheat, has gathered a large amount of oats, and has a fine corn crop. He will also raise hay, peas, melons, etc. Lee is a worker and has made up his mind to raise his supplies on his own farm.
