E. Worsham and stole his gold watch, seventeen dollars in money, a pair of pants and a coat and vest. Mr. Worsham boards at the Flowers Hotel and was staying with his parents at Midway, the night of the burglary. This makes the fourth burglary that has occurred around here in the past three weeks. It will be remembered that someone entered the homes of Messrs. C. J. Geiger, J. E. Robinson, J. M. Allen but a short while ago and stole a good deal from them. It has not been more than three weeks ago from the time the house of Mr. Geiger was entered. It seems to indicate that there is a body of men who are making a practice of entering houses here in Covington. This ought to be stopped and Mr. Worsham is doing his part to catch the guilty party or parties. He has instructed us to say that he will give $25.00 reward for the conviction of the parties. The watch that was stolen is a large gold watch, enameled on one side, while the other is raised work and has an engine on it. The watch is very fine and one of the best in town. Let everybody keep a strict lookout for the guilty parties and help to bring them to justice.
