The Georgia Enterprise, September 22, 1899
     Mr. R. P. Lester, Jr., who has had charge of the Cotton Compress and 
Alliance Warehouse for several years past, will no longer be found in this 
place. The compress and Alliance Warehouse is under the management of S. P. 
Thompson this year. Mr. Lester has charge of the Rock Warehouse and will store 
and weigh cotton as heretofore in the Rock Warehouse. He desires to thank the 
people for past favors, and will be glad to see them at any time.
