It seems the pony had become unruly, and Bill was trying to ride it, when it reared up and fell backwards upon his leg, causing a fracture of the thigh bone. Dr. A. C. Perry, assisted by Dr. J. A. Wright, set the bone, and Bill is getting along as well as could be expected. The doctors think he will not be able to walk without crutches for the next six months.
