The Covington News
     Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Mitcham entertained with a beautiful dinner Sunday at 
their home in Oxford, the occasion being in honor of Mrs. Mitcham’s mother, 
Mrs. P. W. Skelton, whose 65th birthday it was.
     The guests included the following children, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Skelton and 
family of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Skelton and family of Atlanta, Mr. and 
Mrs. P. A. Skelton and family of Jacksonville and Miss Louise Skelton of 
Monroe. Besides the children enjoying the affair were  Mr. T. L. Skelton of 
Decatur, a nephew, Rev. and Mrs. Walker Combs and Miss Annie Mae Berry.
