Simmerson Morris Bowan Guy Robinson Carl Smith E. C. Smith G. C. Watson H. O. Welchel Frank Meador R. F. Lazenby D. K. Hicks George Berry Pete Bohannon C. A. Cannon Jay McCord Andy Kelmidas V. E. Bouchillon W. M. Biggers Dr. Haynie G. B. Nixon and the colored helpers: Lee Clark Oscar Brewer Joe Shorty Besides the 22 possums, several chickens (the feathered kind) were consumed. It was a most satisfactory feast and Dewey proved an excellent host and provider. The casualties consisted only the possums and chickens, but some of the fireman had to take digestive tablets afterwards.
