The Covington News

  Mr. R. I. Weaver, Mr. Bill Edwards, Mr. John Ellis and Mr. Henry Boggus, four 
Newton County Confederate veterans left Sunday night for Dallas, Texas to 
attend the Confederate Veterans reunion in that city. Others in the party were; 
Mr. V. Farmer, Miss Annie Lee, of Oxford and Mrs. Jim Burney of Jackson.
