The Georgia Enterprise, June 13, 1902

  Mr. Jno. H. Reid, an eighteen year old student of Emory College,
died at the home of Mrs. Stewart last Friday, after an illness
of several weeks.
  Mr. Reid entered the Freshman class last September and was an
unusually bright student and was deservedly popular with both
faculty and student body.
  His remains were sent to West Point, his home last Saturday.
