H. Woodruff, of Porterdale, have sent out invitations to the marriage of their daughter, Eura Hill to Mr. J.C.G. Brooks, of Forsyth, to occur Tuesday September 2nd. The bride to be is a young woman of many charms of character and person and has a large circle of friends. For the year she has been assistant teacher in Palmer Institute at Oxford. Mr. Brooks is a graduate of Emory college of the class of 1902. He took a very high class standing was on the champion debate at commencement, popular with the faculty and student body. He is a young man of rare mental endowment and is a brother of W. A. Brooks, editor of the Oconee Enterprise. The marriage will take place at the home of the bride's parents, after which the couple will leave for Brocton, Ga., where Mr. Brooks is superintendent of the public schools.
