The Georgia Enterprise

  Rev. and Mrs. Sam P. Jones, of Cartersville, have announced the engagement
of their daughter, Laura Henry, to Mr. D. M. Flourney, of Paducah, Ky.,
the marriage to be solemnized in the early winter. Miss Jones is the 
third daughter of Rev. Sam Jones. She is young and endowed with beauty
and is very popular at home and abroad. Mr. Flourney comes from one of
the best families in Kentucky and is prominent in business affairs.
  The announcement is of interest to many in Newton County, as Mr. Jones
was pastor of the Starrsville circuit some years agol
