  Mr. and Mrs. James A. Dupuy, of Birmingham, Ala., announce the engagement
of their daughter, Ellen Meredith, to Mr. John Rush Lester, of Talledega, 
Ala., formerly of Covington, the marriage to be solemnized October
28th, at the Ensley Highland Presbyterian church.-Sunday's Atlanta Journal
  The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Lester, of 
North Covington, and has many friends here who are interested in this
announcement.
