The Georgia Enterprise

  While returning from Jasper county, last Thursday, where he had carried
a load of fodder, Mr. W.A. Aaron was thrown between his mules and killed.
  It is supposed that the mules became frightened and gave a leap which
threw Mr. Aaron forward; the mules kicked him on the head and badly
crushed it.
  He was found in the middle of the road, with his skull crushed. He was 
taken in a buggy, but died before he reached home without ever speaking.
