Judge Roan will be on the bench and Wm. Schley Howard will be in the solicitor's box. One thing which marks this session of the court as being somewhat under the average for this county is the absence of trials of capital crimes. During the past six months there has been very little serious crimes committed and the bulk of cases for trial are for mis- demeanor offenses and of parties seeking to untie the marital knot. There are several dissatisfied married people in this county and they are carrying their family troubles to the court house for adjustment.
