The Covington News

  Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Harris, of Ringgold, announce the engagement of their 
daughter, Lorah Lena, and the Rev. Benjamin Graham, pastor Collins Memorial
Methodist church, Bolton, the marriage to take place late June.
  The above appeared in the Atlanta papers of Sunday. Miss Harris is one
of the teachers in the schools of this city and is quite popular among
our people. She came here from Ringgold at the opening of the spring term
of our schools and has held the position as instructor in the High School
department with ability and to the general satisfaction of the patrons
and trustees of the school. She has a large number of friends in this
city who will regret to know that she will no longer be in the schools
of this city. All of whom join THE NEWS in saying that it is with regret
that we give her up, but wish for her in advance a long and happy union.
