The Enterprise

At the house of Mittie Crawford, Col., Monday night on Usher street.
  Last Monday night a white child about three months old was found on the 
veranda of the house of Mittie Crawford, col., who lives in the southern part
of the city on Usher Street. The baby was snugly tucked up in a basket with a
bottle of milk for refreshment.
  No clue has been found as to who placed the child at the woman's house, and 
the matter is a mystery. The authorities however are making every effort to
clear up the circumstances concerning the case.
