G. & A. R. R., near Shiloh church, between Broughtonville and Kelly, and was knocked from the track and so badly hurt about the head and body that he died on Sunday. The engineer did all in his power to stop the train, but could not do so until it had struck the boy. No blame can be attached to any of the trainmen for this accident, because it was brought about by the reckless carelessness of the boy in going to sleep on the track when he was sent to watch some cows that were grazing near the railroad.
