  We learn that on Monday evening Mr. Mal. Cheek was killed near Shady Dale,
Jasper county, by a brother of Capt. McGinnis, who was killed some months
since by Walter Cheek, brother of the man now slain. The particulars which are
given are about all we can learn at present. McGinnis seems to have been
seeking Walter Cheek, when the encounter occurred resulting in the death of 
Mal. Cheek, as above stated.
