Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Ellington have also suffered considerably from them, while Mr. B. F. Reed has been forced to remain in bed for two weeks. Judge Lester has two children who have been quite sick from measles. There are 6 new cases at the home of Mr. Joseph B. Lewis. Mrs. E. O. Lee and children are recovering from measles and will soon be up and about again. Within the past two months nearly every family in this city has had one or more cases, but the schools have not been suspended and so far no deaths have resulted here from this disease, although several persons have died in the county from pneumonia brought on by a relapse from measles.
