  Mrs. M. W. Davis, one of our noblest and best ladies, has been dangerously
sick for several days. May the Master spare this good woman to her family
and friends is the earnest wish and prayer of all our people.
  LATER- At 7 o'clock, Wednesday morning Mrs. Davis was reported as being
past recovery. Her husband, children, parents and other dear ones have given
up all hope. At 7:30 the sad news reached us that she was gently falling
to sleep from which there is no awaking on this earth.
