The Georgia Enterprise
  Messrs. Homer V. Hardwick, Marion Moss, and Wilson L. Davis, were appointed
"Fish Commissioners," of Newton county, by his Honor, Judge Summers, on Tuesday
last, under the law, approved December 21st, 1820, requiring the Ocmulgee River
and its branches to be kept open for the free passage of fish.
