B. Lunsford and two of her little children had been on a visit to Mr. John Adams family and were returning home in a buggy. When near her residence she was met by her husband, who got in the buggy with her. One of the wheels rolled in a hole, breaking a spring of the vehicle and throwing Mr. Lunsford beneath the other wheels, which passed over his body. The mule took fright when one of the children fell on the shafts of the buggy, and as Mrs. Lunsford reached to rescue her darling she was thrown violently to the ground receiving bruises that caused her death in about twenty minutes. She was a noble lady and the sympathies of our entire people go out to her family and friends in the loss they have sustained in her death. These are the particulars of the sad affair as they were given to us. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
