Success to him who goes and him who stays. ~Mr. J. W. Osborn, our former accommodating and efficient assistant postmaster, is now with G. T. Wells. Success to friend Joe. Master Harry Levy occupies the position vacated by Mr. Osborn. Mr. Charlie Powell is also in the post office, with faithful Capt. Levy at the head as “boss.” ~Misses Loudie and Lottie Hendrick are on a visit to relatives and dear friends in Memphis, Tennessee, and will probably spend the winter there. May they have a pleasant, happy, delightful time. They are favorites in Covington society and will be sadly missed from the community. ~Mrs. B. E. Smith, a most excellent lady from Crawfordville, has charge of the popular, Pitts Hotel. She is a business lady and will keep a first-class house in every respect.
