WALTER YARBROUGH, of Gordon County, who is visiting his mother in Oxford and friends in this community, recently lost his residence and everything in it by fire, without any insurance. He is an old Newton County boy, was born and raised here, has preached in this section, and is a most worthy and deserving man. In this unfortunate hour it would be well for his many friends to render aid and assistance, however small. Any contributions for this noble cause will be received at his office and promptly turned over to Brother Yarbrough.
