It is ordered: 1st. That the names of all candidates to be voted for at said primary shall be placed on one ticket, the voter to scratch those candidates names off of said ticket he does not choose to vote for. This committee to have said ticket printed, and the same to be known as official ticket. 2nd. That all candidates running for the various offices shall be required to pay the amount assessed against them to the treasurer, JAS. R. STEPHENSON, of said committee on or before May 5, 1900, or their names will be left off said ticket. 3rd. That a general registration list of all voters in the county be printed and that one registration list be placed at each voting precinct in the county. 4th. That all qualified Democratic voters be allowed to vote at any voting place in the county. 5th. That one manager from each voting place bring returns to Covington by 12 o’clock on May 16, 1900, and that said managers together with the Chairman of the Democratic Executive Committee consolidate said returns and publish same, and that the manager bringing in returns be paid one dollar. 6th. That there be two managers at each of the voting precincts in the county, and that they be paid one dollar; also three managers and two clerks for the city of Covington, and that they be paid one dollar. 7th. That should the funds already assessed be insufficient, to hold primary then the Executive Committee finances the candidates again for this deficiency. 8th. The a committee of three, L. L. MIDDLEBROOKS, JAS. R. STEPHENSON and CAPERS DICKSON, be appointed to get up a registration list, and also to have tickets printed. 9th. That all persons who are candidates for office in primary election, except Governor and State home officers, be assessed to defray all the expenses of holding said primary election. 10th. That Congressman be assessed ten dollars, Sheriff, Clerk of the Court Ordinary, Treasurer, Tax Collector, Judge and Solicitor Generals, five dollars each; Members of Legislature, four dollars each; Tax Receiver, three dollars each; Surveyor, two dollars each; County Commissioner, two dollars each; Coroner, one dollar.
