B. SIMMS and family are visiting Salt Springs. ~Miss FLORRIE HENDERSON is visiting relatives in Savannah. ~Miss NELLIE WOMACK is enjoying this week with friends in Griffin. ~Mr. and Mrs. CHAS. F. ADAMS will visit relatives in Alabama soon. ~Mr. and Mrs. GEO. T. WELLS will leave on a visit to relatives in Clark County, Friday. ~Mr. GEO. W. WOODRUFF is now with Mr. GEO. W. SWORDS, at King’s old corner. ~Mr. EDWARD HEARD and family are spending this week with relatives in Brewer’s district. ~Mr. T. A. PERRY has purchased the house and acre lot, on Floyd Street, belonging heretofore to Mr. ROBERT O. USHER. ~Misses EMMA and ANNIE KING, two charming young ladies from Atlanta, spent several days here last week visiting friends. ~Miss IDA EDWARDS and Miss NELLIE NEAL left on Thursday for a visit to friends in Atlanta, Cumming and Gainesville. We hope they will have a delightful time during their absence from home and loved ones here. ~Miss KATE J. BIGHAM, a cultured young lady who has been teaching in Andrew Female College, at Cuthbert, daughter of Rev. R. W. BIGHAM, has been elected first assistant in Normal College, Lake City, Fla. ~Mr. CHARLES ADAMS, has bought the large and elegant brick residence, on Monticello Street, from Mr. ALFRED HAYS, the latter will erect a new residence on the same street.
