Sam SMALL, Prohibition and Third Party candidate for Congress, spoke at Almon Saturday morning and at Covington in the afternoon. His speech was devoted principally to abuse of the Democratic candidate, Col. LIVINGSTON. At Covington quite a crowd gathered in the court house and the speaker was frequently interrupted. It is said that Mr. SMALL declared that he had never been more rudely treated than at Saturday’s speaking. His plan of campaigning and the methods he employs, invites interruption and in some places might be resented with a shower of “eggs”, although, the latter was not resorted to here.
