P. Reynolds had 400 panels of fence burnt on Tuesday last. ~On Saturday last, while on a bird hunt, Mr. James Griffin attempted to cross a ditch on horse back and his animal was badly hurt, by a snag striking him in the breast. ~On Saturday morning an old gentleman was thrown from his horse, near the Court House, receiving several bruises on the face and an ugly cut on the head. He was carried to the Drug Store of Branham & Jones where Doctors Branham and Anderson dressed his wounds. He then wended his way homeward rejoicing over the successful treatment of his bruises by those worthy and clever-hearted physicians.
