~Miss Lucie Bagby has returned from a pleasant visit to Atlanta.

~Col. O. T. Rogers and wife have returned to their home in Savannah.

~Mr. Charles B. Rosser, of Monticello, spent several days of last week with 
friends.

~Capt Ranse Hodge, of Shady Dale, was shaking hands with his many friends here 
last week.

~Mrs. N. C. Lee and daughter’s, Miss Leila Glass and Eddie Thompson visited 
Judge Manson Glass family last Sunday.

~Mr. Milton Fambrough, of Rutledge, was murdered by a negro named John Eagan 
alias Alfred Glover. The murderer escaped.

~Miss Kate McDonald, who has been visiting our city as the guest of Mrs. A. E. 
McDonald, returned to her home in Conyers Monday.
