Norton will move to Lithonia in a few days. ~Mr. James T. Corley has been afflicted with boils on his hands and arms for some time past. ~Mr. R. H. Buchanan has not fully decided to move his family to Atlanta. ~Esquire Roseberry, of Cedar Shoals district strained one of his arms quite severely by a fall recently. ~Judge W. P. Anderson is up from Oglethorpe county visiting relatives and friends here. ~Mr. J. H. Kinney came up from Madison Friday and remained a short while with friends and dear ones here. ~Mr. J. D. Moon, of Walnut Grove, will sell a large number of Jersey Cattle at public sale on Nov. 20. ~We are glad to learn that Mr. W. A. Hix is doing a splendid business at his popular store near the depot. We wish him much success. ~Our Col. J. W. Anderson is said to be the wealthiest country editor in Georgia, and he made it all by hard work. ~A friend said to us the other day that land within five miles of George Stanton’s place had to bring over $10 an acre when forced to sale, else George would certainly buy it. ~Mrs. V. C. Conyers and Mrs. H. J. Bates left Tuesday to spend the winter in Chicago. Mr. Jno. Aaron and family occupy their residence here. May these good ladies have a delightful time during their absence abroad.
