~Rev. R. J. Bigham, of Augusta, will probably be here next week.

~Dr. Turney and family, of Atlanta moved here Thursday.

~Mr. James A. Cook has recovered from a serious spell of fever.

~Mr. Arch Stewart, of Conyers, will make his home here again.

~We trust Mr. C. E. Cook will soon be restored to perfect health.

~Mr. Joe W. Wright owns one of the finest pointer dogs in town.

~Mr. Thos. F. Petty and family have moved to Atlanta.

~Mr. J. F. Peek, Jr., has been on the sick list for several days past.

~Capt. G. D. Heard has moved to his new home on Social Circle Street.

~Mr. W. M. Heard and two sisters have moved to their country home 8 miles south 
of town.

~Mr. John Pitts and family, of Newborn, will move to town at an early day.

~Capt. J. E. McConnell and family left for their new home in Texas Saturday.

~Mr. R. A. Aaron, Jr., has moved from Hays district to Jasper County. Success 
to him in his new home.

~Mr. J. P. Anderson and family will make Atlanta their home next year.

~Mr. B. F. Camp had the first shad of the season on sale at his store Saturday.

~Miss Florrie Henderson, of the LaGrange female college, will spend the 
holidays at her home here.

~Rev. Dr. J. M. Brittain, of Augusta, spent a day or two of last week here and 
led the Baptist prayer meeting Wednesday night.

~Messrs Edward Heard and C. H. White have sold their merchandise business to 
this city to Mr. Arch Stewart, of Conyers.
