J. M. Brittain preached at Lithonia Saturday and Sunday last. ~Mrs. Franklin Wright contemplates visiting Savannah at an early day. ~Miss Janie Wright has returned from a pleasant and protracted visit to Augusta. ~Mr. Gus Starr, of Starrsville, will probably visit the Oklahoma country this spring. ~The publication of obituaries and tributes of respect are charged for at half our regular advertising rates. ~We learn that Judge Roney, of the Augusta circuit, will preside the second week of our superior court. ~Rev. W. H. LaPrade will lead the prayer meeting at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, beginning at 4 o’clock. ~Col. T. P. Callaway, of Oglethorpe County, has been on a visit here the guest of his daughter, Mrs. S. W. Hawkins. ~Deputy Marshal Pierce bought a new gun the other day and after a tramp of six hours managed to kill or buy one rabbit. ~Our popular Congressman, Hon. J. D.
