For a time it was thought the boy was dead, and great excitement prevailed. Dr. J. C. ANDERSON and Dr. A. C. PERRY came to his assistance and after dressing the wounds about his head and arms, stated that his injuries were not fatal. Mr. R. H. THOMPSON furnished a bed for the little fellow and did all in his power to relieve his suffering. He swung to the coupling pole for a distance of 200 yards before the wagon was run against a tree and broken down.
