The Georgia Enterprise August 11, 1892
     A very sad accident occurred near Pine Grove Academy Thursday. Elisha 
ELLIOTT and Dannie CAMPBELL, who is a grandson of Esquire Thos. WALKER, were 
playing with a loaded pistol when it fired in the hands of young ELLIOTT the 
ball taking effect in the left breast of CAMPBELL, making a very serious wound. 
Doctor WILSON was called in, but failed to find the ball. It was a 32 caliber. 
The condition of the young man was pronounced to be precarious. The mother and 
family have the sympathy of the community.
